the book store was very prompt and I had delivery way before the time frame they gave me. Excellent! The book was fun, funny and in some ways sad. Sad that someone felt they had to write a book to open our eyes to how badly people behave without thinking about consequences. Of course it was written by a wonderfully intellegent, funny woman who put it out there and got her point across without being nasty. A enjoyable book.
Whoopie Goldberg's book reiterates how she speaks today, even on the View. She sticks to her principles, ideations and beliefs she had as a child growing up in impoverished times. She is down to earth and approaches life in a logical and realistic point of view. What the newer generations of today seem to be missing is common sense and taking the time for thought processes to occur. The "I want what I want when I want it " needs to dissipate and our youth of today need to wake up and learn you must work hard for what you get and everything is not always handed to you on a silver platter. I found this book would be a good read for all!
